Honestly, this is the kind of “problem” every pawrent secretly wants. A cat who loves affection so much she launches herself into every kissy moment is peak kitty behavior. Sure, it takes a little management, but having a cat that’s this loving and eager to be included is a gift. Many cats barely tolerate attention, and here’s Xilo demanding it nonstop. That’s a very good problem to have.

With a little redirection, she’ll figure it out in no time. Cats are surprisingly good at learning boundaries when the cues are consistent. She can still get all her kisses from her favorite person while learning that some humans are off-limits. It doesn’t mean taking away affection, just guiding it to the right place. Xilo already knows the routine, she just needs a small update to the rules.

Honestly, the only real solution here might be a tinfoil suit for the roommate. If it crinkles, shines, or feels weird, Xilo will probably rethink her life choices immediately. No face access, no surprise kisses, no dramatic launches. Is it practical? Not at all. Is it funny and oddly convincing? Absolutely. Sometimes you don’t solve the cat problem, you just confuse the cat enough to move on.
